Van in Black is pleased to announce the addition of a brand new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van to our fleet. The additional van is a little larger than our previous Sprinter van and has a seating capacity of 14 passengers. It also adds some nice features to the back of the van like reclining leatherette seats, multiple USB connections in all rows that can be used for charging phones or connecting external speakers, etc., as well as the all important feature; more cup holders! This 2020 Sprinter is a nice addition to our fleet offering and as we hope to continue the standard “5 star” rated service the Van in Black has become known for.
Van in Black was founded in 2018 and began transportation service in August of that year. The original “Van in Black”, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, was the only vehicle in the fleet at first. The company steadily grew and a luxury SUV was added to the fleet the following year in 2019. The original plan was to expand further in the early months of 2020 but then COVID-19 hit and changed everything. A global pandemic was something we didn’t have in our business plan and there were virtually no modern historical data models to pull from. It was completely unchartered territory for every business in the service industry in the nation. This obviously put all growth plans on hold for the first half of 2020 or at least until the effects on the market could be measured. The second half of 2020, however, is a completely different story and business has never been better for us! Van in Black has seen a significant growth in demand as people look forward to spending time together like never before. A sincere thank you to all of our clients past and present, we couldn’t make this move and sustain growth without you! The demand for transportation services made it clear that we needed to move forward with the expansion plan which brings us back to the subject of this blog article: Here We Grow!
