After just barely 2 weeks from our last fleet expansion announcement, Van in Black is happy to announce the acquisition of not just one but two additional Sprinter vans to our fleet. This puts our total fleet count to 16 vehicles of various vans, SUVs, and a sedan. We are also, to my knowledge, the only transportation provider in the region with an electric vehicle option since we added the Rivian R1S at the end of last year. This latest expansion represents our commitment to this area and our desire to become the premiere luxury transportation provider in the region.

What are the details of these latest vans? I thought you would never ask! Both of these new vans are Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans. All vehicles in our fleet, with the exception of the Rivian R1S, are Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Apparently we have a thing for Mercedes-Benz (but why not? they manufacture great vehicles!).
The first van we acquired is another 14 passenger Sprinter van. This is the 5th van of this size/style/configuration that we have added to our fleet. This typical passenger vehicle is the real workhorse of our fleet and is most popular for wedding transportation. It is also very commonly used for wine tours with large groups of people. This van, like our others, has the nice leatherette seats with the rear AC unit that provides comfort in style. Very nice! We also have a sixth 14 passenger van which is an upgraded version of the standard 14 passenger vans in our fleet. This vehicle is more of an executive shuttle. If you need to move a lot of people with luggage our 14 passenger vans are more than capable of getting the job done.
The second van we just couldn’t pass up is another 11 passenger van which is perfect for those smaller groups that need something a little larger than an SUV but don’t need a large 14 passenger van. Most of our 11 passenger vans have a smaller wheelbase and are nimble, versatile vans that are capable of getting to just about every spot you can go with a car. They are a little taller than most standard vehicles so sometimes we run into a clearance issue, but for the most part, these vans can go anywhere and everywhere. They are also quite comfortable and easy to get in/out of. Our new 11 passenger van has an automatic running board, leatherette seats, rear AC, and an upgraded sound system. It is a fully loaded 11 passenger vehicle. It is perfect for wine tours, pub crawls, weddings, shuttle service or anything else you can dream up where you need comfortable chauffeured transportation for 6-11 passengers.
